Jessica is a wonderful doula! She is very attentive and took time to get to know us before the baby was born, checking in frequently and making sure she knew what we wanted from the birthing experience. During the birth she cultivated a calm, caring atmosphere and was so helpful with positioning and pain management techniques. When I had to make some decisions about potential interventions I was grateful to have her there to talk things through with. Jessica has continued to reach out and connect with us since the birth and her genuine care for our family is apparent. I am glad Jessica was part of my birthing experience and highly recommend her as a doula.

We hired Jessica as a sibling doula to stay with our older child while we gave birth. Jessica provided exceptional care. She was a great communicator from the start, and made a real effort to get to know our son prior to the birth. Jessica demonstrated great care for our family in a busy and chaotic time. We are so grateful for her, and continue to connect with Jessica for postpartum services.

I can’t say enough good things about Jess!

I gave birth to my son (2nd child) in the early, scary, unvaccinated days of covid. To reduce exposure, she moved in and quarantined with us. Having a stranger move in with you can feel worrisome, but she was so easy to be around that it was a delight.

She helped with birth prep, was sibling doula for our daughter while we were at the hospital, and post partum doula for two weeks when we got home. We was wonderful at all of that and developed a very special bond with our daughter. She helped her process and adjust to having a new siblings. My daughter named her favorite baby doll after her.

I also consulted with her later over sleep issues with my son. Her suggestions did the trick and I thought I had tried everything!

      We love Jess!

Having Jessica as our doula was one of the best decisions we made! Jessica’s warm demeanor, knowledge, and expertise helped guide us before, during, and after the birth of our first child. Her kind and compassionate approach was extraordinarily helpful in the moments we needed support the most during the birth process. During our prenatal visits, she helped prepare us as a couple by thinking through important points of our birth plan, answering our own questions, and providing resources for us. Jessica was always available and communicative. We felt very supported leading up to and during the birth. It was wonderful having her come and visit during her postnatal visit. We highly recommend Jessica as a doula.

I hired Jessica to be my birth doula for my second daughter. I had PTSD from a bad birth experience with my first child, so I wanted a doula the second time around for emotional support. Jessica was amazing throughout the whole birth experience. She used pain relief techniques that made a profound difference and brought a calming presence that really transformed the whole birth experience from scary to sacred and special. We later got help from Jessica for sleep consulting and postpartum doula work which was also very helpful. I definitely recommend working with Jessica!

I’m so glad I got connected with Jessica! From our first phone call I could tell we would be safe in her hands. Not only is she experienced and very knowledgable, but her calm and sweet demeanor always put our minds/hearts at ease. She answered all our questions, gave us her expert opinions, and helped us set realistic expectations/goals which we appreciated being first time parents. You really get the whole package with Jessica – sleep, lactation, massage, labor/delivery, and always there to answer any question/concern that pops into your mind! My labor was strenuous, but the minute Jessica walked in the room I definitely felt a wave of calmness and safety wash over me! She obviously helped me through contractions and pushing, but also went above and beyond – made sure I had dinner waiting after birth, took care of my placenta encapsulation hand off, and was a pillar of strength for us – making sure both me and my partner’s needs and wants were heard by our medical team. Even months after birth, we are still working with Jessica and looking forward to continuing working with her as our little one grows! Highly recommend hiring Jessica for whatever needs you have before, during, or after birth!

I cannot recommend Jess as a doula enough! She was amazing, and she made my labor experience so much more smooth than it would have been without her. Our first meeting with Jess was scheduled on a Tuesday and late Sunday night before, my water broke (4 weeks early!). I was so nervous and panicked. We had no labor plan, as we were going to make one with Jess just a few days later at our first meeting. I texted her on our way to the hospital and she arrived on Monday morning just in time as my contractions were starting to get really intense. She had so many tools and techniques to help guide me through labor and to also help my husband support me through the process. Jess is kind and compassionate and incredibly supportive. I felt so comfortable with her there and am so grateful that she could just jump in and support me even though we had not gone over any of my preferences for labor yet! Jess is wonderful, and I am so grateful everyday that she was there with me when my baby was born.

Jessica was our birth doula, and she also helped us with our newborn baby postpartum. We feel very lucky to have had her with us on this journey. From the first interviews and in person prenatal visits, to her supporting us in the hosipital as well as in our home, we have always felt we could trust her and lean on her experience. We had an induction on our due date and were planning to use epidural as pain management in late labor. It was a real scare when epidural wasn’t really working for me for at least a couple of hours (which in labor time felt like forever). Jessica’s presence really calmed us down, and with her help I was able to navigate the pain and panic until medication finally kicked in. Our birth experience was less stressful with her being there, and we also appreciated her staying a while after our baby was born to make sure we were comfortable and got everything we needed.

We also had Jessica as a postpartum doula for a few weeks, and she was so good with our baby girl and made it possible for me to go out and grab a coffee and have some selfcare time every now and then. Our daughter loves the reading, walks, and playtime they had together. AND, she gives great massages! We are so glad we found Jessica and we are thankful for all the help and support she gave us.
