I believe birth is one of the most natural processes the human body can experience. Our bodies were designed to create, carry, and then bring new life into the world. The human body inherently knows & understands how to go through the process of birth – both as the one giving birth, and the one being birthed. This beautiful and natural design of the labor and delivery process should be celebrated.

I will pick up the placenta shortly after your birth, process it, and bring it back encapsulated in a few days.
Birth Doula Support

We will meet 3 times prenatally & 1 time postpartum. During these meetings, we will get to know each other so you will be more comfortable with my being in your birth environment. My goal during these meetings is to make sure you are educated enough on the birth process & your options so that you may make informed decisions when filling out the birth plan template. We will also do mental work to prepare you for your labor & practice comfort measure positions & movements. You will have access to my in-depth, comprehensive, autonomous childbirth education course & birth plan workshop. I am available via text/call to answer any questions you have throughout your pregnancy. I will join you at your chosen birth space when you are in labor.

Unfortunately our child had other ideas (don’t they all), Amanda helped to educate and equip us to handle all of the adorable little curveballs our first child could throw at us.
