  Fazzy, was truly everything I needed during my pregnancy; she was there every step of the way. At 37 years old, first time mom, extremely high risk with my rainbow baby, Fazzy was able to help figure out my date of conception. She aided me when I had certain symptoms, and advised what she thought I could be experiencing. She made sure the doctor would confirm.

  When I would panic, Fazzy was a phone call away to keep me calm. During the pandemic I freaked out, was between doctors, and Fazzy was able to get access to a doppler which kept me comfortable. She came to my home and helped me learn how to use it and all.

  I was diagnosed with high blood pressure during pregnancy and Fazzy was able to help me understand my medication and dosage. When I had concerns Fazzy advised she thought I was experiencing pre-eclampsia early on but doctor didn’t diagnose. I was put on bed rest and Fazzy checked on me making sure I was taking vitamins and drinking water and not stressing. Weeks later and having to have a c-section at 30 weeks Fazzy ended up being right, i had pre-eclampsia. Fazzy showed up to the emergency to help deliver baby but covid restrictions didn’t allow her to come in. I was able to speak to her right after and she was a sounding board while my baby was in the nicu for 2 months. Fazzy advised me questions to ask and advised me on things to do to help my baby (born 1 pound 15 ounces) come home. My daughter is now 11 months and healthy. I appreciate Fazzy duola services.

Hi my name is JoseIyn but my family and friends call me yose. I am a holistic Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and Birthrights advocate in Orange County, California. My passion for Birth work began in 2020 when I got pregnant with my daughter Kailani. During pregnancy I prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. I found my way to the birth world after having a very long and challenging labor with my first child. Through the 3 day process, I could not imagine having done it without my doula. I want to make sure every birthing family feels empowered during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Being a Lactation Consultant I can help ensure your breastfeeding journey gets off to a great start and help you should you encounter any challenges along the way.   From the first moment you spend in Natasha’s orbit, it’s abundantly clear why she chose the path of doula—or maybe that it chose her! Natasha is an incredibly calming, nurturing, and supportive presence, yet her confidence, assertiveness and poise radiate just as strongly. This unique combination of traits is absolutely key for a person serving that role.

  I was fortunate enough to have Natasha right by my side as my doula and friend throughout my entire labor and birthing experience. She brought everything I needed physically, mentally and emotionally and intuitively always knew which tools to pull from the kit. She spoke up for me when it didn’t even cross my mind and she anticipated exactly when to lead with humor, when to cry with me, when to rub my shoulders, when to pull back my hair and when to just hold my hand. She effortlessly collaborated with the entire medical staff, making me feel like I was on a winning team. Her expertise, knowledge, assuredness and optimism gave me an overarching sense of security all along the way.

  From my perspective, just the idea of having a baby is painful and scary no matter how you slice it…but somehow, Natasha also made it fun.

  I had a wonderful experience with Lucero. She was attentive and always quick to answer my endless questions. It was very clear to me that she was highly qualified. While I was very grateful for her presence through my pregnancy, my real appreciation for her came the actual day of my labor. To start, she was quick to arrive when my husband called her in. She was there while I was still laboring in my home. She knew exactly where to apply pressure and massage to get me through the contractions. She was hands on, not shy, quick, and comforting. When we arrived at the hospital she was my advocate. She was not shy to advocate to the nurses about my labor requests and preferences even when they attempted to pressure me otherwise. Her real shinning moment came when I was 10 cm dilated but the baby was at -1 station. The doctor wanted to insert a screw into baby’s head to monitor her which I really did not want happening. Lucero quickly went into action and told me of a laboring position that would help the baby go down. I listened to her and thanks to that the baby’s head was crowning before the doctor had a chance to come back with the screw. I just remember all the medical staff rambling about getting ready to receive the baby as they were not expecting her to drop in such little time. I will forever be grateful to Lucero for this. She is also a wonderful and pleasant person. Highly recommend!! She KNOWS what she’s doing. My birth story would be very different without her.

  We had the opportunity to work with Jillian throughout my second pregnancy. She was a referral from the doula we used during the birth of our oldest. Jillian was wonderful to work with throughout my pregnancy and delivery of my son. She was supportive, understanding of our needs/desires, attentive, and friendly. She knows what she is doing and also collaborates with each person to address needs and concerns. My son’s arrival was traumatic and Jillian was with us in each step. Her guidance and support were extremely helpful. Her postpartum visits were supportive to my entire family. She is passionate about this work and it shows. We were so blessed to work with her.

I am the mother of 2 beautiful children, and I gave birth to a surrogate baby in 2021. I am a trained birth doula through DONA international, and I am certified in acupressure. I am also a student midwife in my primary phase, so I understand intimately what a physiological birth looks like. I had multiple traumatic birth experiences that fueled my passion for helping families understand their choices, at all stages of pregnancy, during labor and postpartum.   When I met Nicole and saw the Doula services she offered I was very happy to have her in my birthing process. Nicole had several pre-natal appointments with me and we created a birth plan. She also taught me about pain management tips, breathing techniques, and birthing positions to use during labor. She got my partner involved and she was so helpful in getting him prepared for the big day. All of her information was extremely helpful and she educated my partner which made him and I feel so much prepared for the big day. When I went into labor, Nicole came to the hospital and helped me during my labour process. She helped me achieve the best birthing experience, better than I even imagined! I had an amazing birthing experience and I was grateful to have Nicole there throughout the process. I was able to labor naturally most of the time and I really had an understanding of what my body was feeling and Nicole helped me through my contractions. She also came to my home for a post-natal visit and was able to help me with any questions I had. She is a wonderful, compassionate, and knowlegable Doula and I couldn’t be happier with her services. Nicole was also affordable and she provided amazing Doula services that fit my needs and budget. 10/10 I am very happy with my experience with Nicole

  Being French I had never heard about doula before. For my first pregnancy I knew I will not have an epidural and I needed someone to guide me this is when someone recommended Mathilde. She had been very supportive during my whole pregnancy, recommended me to use some self hypnosis. She never judged me, recommended me some practice but never imposed and most of all she listen to me and my wishes. The big day I sent her a message in middle of the night and she arrived ready to assist me and be there to be my voice to all the nurse to make sure they follow my birthing plan. She always included my husband, gave him and advised him how to be the best partner ever during this delivery. I could never dream of a better delivery and better doula. I recommend her 1000%.

During prenatal appointments, I will help you create a birth plan, discuss how you envision your birth experience, what type of environment you prefer, who might be there, and how you imagine me supporting you (and your partner). I will also cover basic childbirth education, address any questions or concerns, and give early labor coping techniques and relaxation exercises. I am also a Certified Lactation Educator and will cover a lot of breastfeeding education so you are off to a great start. During Labor, I will meet you at your birthing location and remain there until a few hours after baby is born and you have achieved a first successful latch. Postpartum, usually within the first week, I will come visit you in your home and make sure everything is going smoothly and address any breastfeeding concerns you may have,

  As a birth doula myself, it was important for me to have my doula be someone I could trust 100% and that’s why I chose Katy. She helped set the tone from the very start of my active labor. She blended in perfectly to my relaxing home birth environment and spoke strength into me at the moments I needed it most. She worked well with my midwife and got along with the family members I had present during my birth experience. And she did a pretty good job taking photos and videos! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a calm, educated, and empowering birth doula.

My interest in this work began as a young adult when my older sister was pregnant and I was invited to be a member of her birth team. I remember being overwhelmingly awed by the birth process and the human body. My interest continued as I started on the path to become a labor and delivery nurse. I found, rather quickly, the path of becoming a L&D was too clinical for me and did not feed my soul how I wanted. While in search for what was next, I became pregnant myself. I was confident I had wanted a home birth with a midwife and a doula, but ended up having a planned hospital birth due to a misdiagnosed medical condition. My birth was not at all what I wanted it to be. I was not given options, I was not given information, I was not given time to think and it left me somewhat scarred. After my daughter was born, my husband was only able to take a week off of work. I also had my stepdaughter to take care of and I felt like I didn't have time to heal, establish a good breastfeeding routine, or bond with my darling girl. I remember feeling completely unsupported. It was then that I decided I wanted to help mamas to have empowered births that they wouldn't need to emotionally recover from. My experience shaped my doula practice. My experience makes informed consent my top priority with my clients as well as bonding time within the family and breastfeeding support. I love what I do and I love helping each family I work with to have a more fulfilling experience.

  I never had a doula with my first child but I’m so grateful to have met Sabrina with my second child. I wanted a different experience this time around and she went above and beyond for me. Not only is she full of knowledge but she is also patient, kind, supportive, non judgmental. She has the energy and passion to make you excited about what can be a scary process especially after having experienced a traumatic first birth. I decided to become a doula after I was present for my youngest sister’s birth. I was inspired and felt called to work in this area. I plan to further my education and become a midwife. All of the noise and directions and confusion when you first arrive can be overwhelming, but Karen will take everything in stride, making sure you have great communication with your medical team while she helps your birth space feel more calm, comfortable and ready to welcome your little love! Milky Mama was founded by Krystal Duhaney, a Registered Nurse, IBCLC and breastfeeding mama of two in 2016. Since its birth, we have assisted over 50,000 parents in their pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding journeys.

  Asia is an amazing breath of fresh air in a time where you could not be more vulnerable. I didn’t have a village and yet with her support I felt totally at ease.
  She was so wonderful at making sure that I had what I needed even when I didn’t even know. I feel like she will forever be a part of my life. Or at a minimum will always have a piece of my heart.
