My journey in birth work started when I was in labor with my oldest child and almost lost him and my life due to the hospital not listening. I was lucky to experience having a Doula with my second and third child, and that made a world of difference having another person there to advocate for me and the safety of my children. That support inspired me to pursue a career birth work.
