Tracy C. | Doula in Raleigh, NC

Doula Bell Raleigh

    Practice overview

When people say "it takes a village", they aren't wrong! My job is to be part of that village. I have been working with families for 15+ years, in infant classrooms and in-home. I meet my families where they are and grow alongside them! My goal is to help you meet your goals! Every mother and family has specific desires for postpartum life, being there to support, encourage or simply give you a chance to nap is where I come in. I established Doula Bell in 2022 after witnessing the lack of support during the postpartum period. I was my sister's "unofficial doula" during both of her pregnancies 7 & 11 years ago. I saw her struggle through breastfeeding, societal pressures, sleep deprivation and so much more. I started helping families in-home but really wanted to focus on this time after birth. They call me the baby whisperer! :) In my spare time I love walking and taking my 2 rescues, Thanos & Raymond to the dog park. I have 3 bonus daughters with my soon to be husband. We love going to the Raleigh Flea market, going swimming or having game night! I am a huge sports fan, playing college softball. You can find me cheering for the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox! I can't wait to meet your family and new addition!

    Care philosophy

Working with families for so many years, I've learned that REALLY listening to my clients is extremely important. Everyone's journey is different. I really focus on the needs of the specific client and work to create a trusting relationship. I pride myself on being able to put myself in people's shoes, being able to approach each situation as a non-judgmental ally. I truly love what I do!

Tracy was critical to our success as a family raising twin boys. She was diligent about staying aligned on development goals for our boys. She integrated herself as part of their care team. I was consistently impressed with her creativity, passion, and love for children. Our boys adored Tracy!

Tracy is very mindful. She helped me put my anxiety at ease. I am a first time mom with no family help. Tracy’s experience really showed in her support and guidance. She was key and helped me through my low breastmilk production. She has tricks and tips outside of Google. Her support really is tailored to your specific needs and lifestyle. Highly recommended.

Tracy is a gem and I cannot recommend her enough! She is warm and patient, knowledgable and effective, and beyond supportive. She has helped our family go through the transition to 4 kids with the recent addition of twins – not sure who is obsessed with her most, me (mom) or dad or older siblings or the little babies but we all know we’re lucky to have her!

I have had the opportunity to work with Tracy Cullity over the period of a year. I am a Pediatric OT (30 yrs experience), and was providing services for one of the children in her care. During my career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with parents, teachers and care providers. Tracy is by far among the best, most intuitive care providers I have ever worked with.

Tracy works easily and seamlessly within a team framework; she is very comfortable with working with other professionals that are involved with her client. I have seen the rapport Tracy builds easily with those around her; she treats everyone with utmost respect. With children, Tracy is gentle yet firm – setting limits, yet understanding when a child is too hungry, tired, sick, etc to comply with those limits. Tracy’s personality is upbeat and positive. At the same time, Tracy is very calm, loving, even-keeled, and patient in her interactions. Tracy’s communication skills are excellent, and she is very perceptive to the needs of her client.

I would love to work with Tracy again, and hope our paths overlap again in the future. Tracy is a level-headed women, without drama, an excellent team player and a very caring, loving nurturer.
