Practice overview
From an early age taking care of young children and being directly involved with supporting families has always been around Marcia. Growing up her mother ran a successful in home daycare for over 20yrs and Marcia grew to love and become a professional in the field of Early Childhood Education which led her to the classroom where she served as a Lead Toddler Teacher for over 6yrs. Throughout her teaching career she has worked with Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers, school age kids and all the way up to college students. Once she transitioned out of classroom Marcia found a new passion in Nannying. With the removal outside stressors she was able to laser focus her teaching style but also learned that she loved being even more closely involved with families in their homes, early childhood development and supporting mothers and parents to lean into their new roles. It's truly a natural progression that Marcia would again find herself evolving her interests to include supporting even earlier stages of young children and families lives by becoming a Certified Full Spectrum Birth Doula. Intertwining her Spiritual Intuitive background, Educational Knowledge and Compassion for early life transitions Marcia is so excited to be of service and to help families have the best Birthing experience they can.
This Service includes but not limited to Prenatal, Labor, Delivery and Postpartum Support for expecting Mothers, Birthing Individuals and their partners. she and I worked together on affirmations, art projects. Post partum Marcia came over and made a beautiful soup for my new family and we talked through everything from processing my birth experience to hurdles in breastfeeding

She’d help me through different symptoms and always there to listen and support. During labor as uncomfortable I was she made it way better the room was peaceful dim with realists (led) a diffuser of nice scents and a music Playlist. She gave me back rubs to help me through contractions and was by my side the while time. I highly recommend Marcia to anyone everyone .10starts in my book.

When we were in the delivery room she was able to speak to for me to the doctors and get exactly the experience I wanted. She set up the birthing space sp that my son came into this world with the most positive energy and surrounded by love. She talked me through some really intense contractions where I didnt think I would be able to continue but with Marcia support of her talking me through it. I highly recommend marcia as your doula ypu and your baby through out your pregnancy will feel and be supported in everyway
