Mom to Mom Doula Services

    Practice overview

I’m a follower of Christ first and most importantly. I am a Military Spouse with 3 children. My husband and I have been married 15 years. Before I became a Birth and Postpartum Doula I worked in the field of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I studied to become a Doula while stationed overseas in Okinawa, Japan. My calling and Ministry in this life is Mothers, Women and Children. Helping mothers whether in labor, during the birth, or after the baby has been born is my joy and passion. It brings me great joy to help families during each stage of pregnancy and there after. I take each opportunity that I’m given with families as a blessing to show love, compassion, and care in every area that it is needed. I have also valued how much love and thankfulness I receive from each family I’ve had the pleasure to serve. I can honestly say that I’m doing exactly what I was made to do and with that truth I face each opportunity with excitement, joy and eagerness.

    Care philosophy

Hello My name is Keshun Mobley and I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula. It is my belief that Birth is designed to be a natural process. I do not buy into the belief that Birth is a Medical Procedure and I don’t believe mothers in birth should be treated as such unless there is cause for concern. It is my belief that after a Birth mother and baby should have the best care of love and assurance.

I reached out to Keshun when I was in desperate need of help and guidance during my most recent pregnancy. I was frustrated and nervous. Keshun went above and beyond to eas my mind. Immediately after our 1st conversation I felt relieved, and I knew that she was going to help get me through my pregnancy. She was always there for me with a listening ear or to give advice when I was having a difficult time, and she always made me feel like my concerns were valid. She made things so much easier for my husband and myself. I didn’t have the easiest delivery, and the only way that I was able to get through it was with her support and being there for myself and my husband. He mentions very often how he doesn’t know if he would have been able to remain calm, or to even cope as well as he did if it hadn’t been for Keshun being there with us when things got rough. She is brilliant and sweet. She is also very professional and knowledgeable. I am truly grateful that she was there with us. While I won’t be having another child after this, she is definitely someone that I would recommend to anyone else needing her services. I only wish that I had known her for my other 2 pregnancies!

During my pregnancy Keshun made organizing the nursery super easy and ensured everything was cleaned for my baby boy. After the birth there was only a handful of people I trusted with my new baby and Keshun was one of them. She is very knowledgeable and always comforting during stressful times. I will always recommend her to any news moms.

Keshun has been critical to my postpartum care experience as a new, first-time mom during this crazy pandemic. Two months after my son was born, my husband went on a 4-month deployment. Not only was I living alone with no family around, but I was also in grad school and was struggling to find balance and take care of myself. Keshun came over about once a week to every other week and took care of me by making sure I was nourished with good food, a clean home, organized my son’s room, and helped with my never ending laundry piles. She is punctual, professional, and very experienced with children. Keshun is someone who you immediately feel that you can trust with your little one, and see by her work ethic that she is passionate about being a doula. She is very personable and down to earth, and I would highly recommend her to any new parent needing a helping hand.
