January 26, 2021 at 12:38 am | Client review“We encountered Kelly Martin through a simple google search in February 2020. Kelly made sure we had all the resources about labor and delivery. She was nice enough to bring us a lot of useful books and videos to watch. We felt informed and prepared. In June Kelly visited us for the second time to talk about our birth plan and pain killing techniques like aromatherapy, massage, peanut balls, rebozo and essentials oils.
When my due date was approaching Kelly was always available. I ended up giving birth a week after the due date (August 2020). By that time, we and Kelly made a clear plan and we knew what to do. We called her when I was in labor and she promptly arrived at our house. She helped me in the shower and insisted on going to the hospital at the right time (being first-time parents we had no idea when the right time was). When we arrived at Northfield Hospital’s Birth Center, Kelly helped me with massage, recommending the poses and simply talking and persuading me that everything was going well.
She was amazing with my husband – told him what to do to support me and he felt very confident and comfortable around her.
Our birth experience was wonderful and Kelly Martin played a big part in making it great. We would definitely hire Kelly as our doula again.
Overall, Kelly Martin is a real professional and we are grateful for her help.”

January 26, 2021 at 12:46 am | Client reviewKelly was my doula for my second child. She is sweet, very knowledgeable and firm when you need her to be. Although I gave her a hard time sometimes, she was still forgiving. Kelly was a wonderful doula I can only dream of how she is as a midwife. She was kind to my children in all ways and wonderfully welcoming to my husband. Her spunk and tenacity to get the job done, was only matched by her professionalism. She was wise when it came to me and I called her for the births of my other children even though she was studying in other places. I am lucky to call her friend and if I have the privilege of becoming pregnant again in the future I will definitely be calling her up. Even though she could not be there in person, I felt as if Kelly walked me through some of the hardest times in my life. Kelly has always been kind and has many skills. Massage therapist, aromatherapy and spinning babies just to name a few. She came through at the hospital just when I needed her. I have nothing but respect for her and good things to say. Thank you again Kelly!

Her level of knowledge was exceptional and gave us incredible peace of mind during the process. She always knew just what to do to help relieve my pain levels, and I know that her presence gave my husband the confidence to participate in our births in a deeper, more supportive way.
I would recommend Kelly as a doula to anyone who is looking for a calm, steadying presence for their labor and birth experience.”
