Practice overview
I believe that you are the expert on your baby. I believe that you are doing it right. I believe your choices deserve to be celebrated. I deeply believe that you deserve empathetic, nourishing care too. I believe with education, dreaming. planning, learning how you want to be cared for, and learning how to communicate that to those who want to help you that the postpartum period can have moments of real joy and celebration even if we are very tired and worn thin. Postpartum should be time of nourishment for everyone as well as baby.I have been a Postpartum Doula since 2018 and a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2019 and have served over 25 families. I have served families in their postpartum journeys both virtually and in person. And offer my lactation support through a wholistic, doula lens. I am very passionate about planning for postpartum prenatally before the family is in the beautiful but wild swirling world of postpartum and offer standalone postpartum planning sessions to talk about what those first few weeks can look like and also how you would like for them to look.

Katie worked with my partner and I to uncover potential new parent friction points we didn’t previously know existed, and helped us form a plan to address them.
Her commitment to supporting us was felt in both tangible ways – she encouraged us to text and call with questions and concerns 24/7 – and in intangible ways – knowing she was part of our village was deeply assuring.

Her understanding of birth and postpartum goes beyond the surface, allowing her to serve her clients at the deepest level of their experience. She is highly efficient and organized while also projecting warmth and care. I can’t think of anyone more qualified or better suited to do this work.
