Julia R. in Minneapolis, MN

    Practice overview

I was born and raised in South Minneapolis, where I live today. I trained as a birth doula and childbirth educator after the birth of my daughter. I have since expanded my knowledge and services and now proudly offer full spectrum care. Covering sexual health education, pre-conception assistance, pregnancy options counseling, abortion and loss support, birth doula services, I provide education and support across a wide array of reproductive life events. I have worked with SPIRAL Collective, Everyday Miracles, Planned Parenthood, Family Tree Clinic, Shir Tikvah Synagogue, and individually with clients. I identify as queer and Jewish and am happy to support all families and folks of any and all identities, especially those in my communities

    Care philosophy

I have a deep passion for reproductive justice and bodily autonomy for all people across all reproductive experiences, including the rights of a pregnant person to make informed decisions about their own experiences. I believe in evidence-based, non-judgmental care. I do my best to deliver this, with warmth, compassion, and humor.
