Elysia went above and beyond in assisting us as our Doula with the birth of our son. She listened to and remembered every request, even the smallest ones. She attended to my every need in labor, delivery and post partum care. I am so thankful for her expertise and presence during what can be a stressful time. I have recommended her to several friends who also hired her as their Doula.

Without Elysia, I never would have made it to 7 cm! She was so encouraging mas provided comfort measures that even my husband was not strong enough to do! She was kind, respectful, and a trooper – she was there even though she had just done a long labor and delivery the day before. I am so grateful for her support and services. As a first time mother they were a blessing from God and something I believe every mother should have.

“Elysia was an amazing support person to have before, during and after the birth of my daughter.

This was our first child and I didn’t know what to expect. The birthing sessions were extremely informative and detailed. When I began labor at home, Elysia was always so responsive when I had any questions. She even came over to check on me because I thought it was time to go to the hospital (it wasn’t haha) so I’m glad she was there for me and I didn’t waste my time going to the hospital early.

Having Elysia in the room with me and my husband at the hospital during the birth was invaluable. She knew what to do and what to say to keep me calm and help me through everything. I originally intended on doing a non-medicated birth but that changed when I got to the hospital. Even with the epidural, I had issues with the catheter and back pains. I don’t remember much from the labor but I vividly remember Elysia rubbing my back and putting pressure on my back during contractions to stop the pain. She knew exactly what to do! She took pictures and videos during the birth which I will forever treasure.

After coming home from the hospital, I had trouble breastfeeding and she got me in touch with the most amazing lactation consultant.

From beginning to end, my experience with Elysia was amazing. Even now, a year after my daughter’s birth, I am still in contact with Elysia providing her with donations for the charities she supports. She is all around an amazing person!”
