“First I would like to say I had no idea what a Doula was… But once I met Carmen, I instantly connected with her. She let me know all that a doula does and made me feel comfortable about it all even with being in the middle of a pandemic (COVID-19)… before I started seeing Carmen I had Chronic Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Sleeplessness, Depression, Pain, Insecurity and I was Scared. By my second visit with Carmen none of those symptoms EXISTED! I was so comfortable with talking with her, she always listened and assured me that things would get better. She showed me how to meditate and the importance of putting my baby first. She’s AMAZING, Loving, Soft Spoken, Friendly, Humble and Very Kind Hearted. She made me feel like I was Family.
The only thing I regret that neither Carmen nor I had control over was having her in my delivery room, due to the pandemic she was not able to come per hospital regulations! BUT she offered to FaceTime/Text me and be there for me 100% Anytime I reached out to her she was RIGHT THERE with an immediate answer and advisory. She definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND! She was very consoling and advised me with all the knowledge she had and was very helpful! It felt like she was right there next to me. Carmen is an Incredible Doula. I wish she was in my life sooner with my other 4 pregnancies! I recommend her, not only for her services… but also for her companionship, good heart and her ability to give you peace of mind.
