I approach my care from a holistic standpoint. I’m most adept in supporting women with home births and out of hospital birth centers and have had two home births myself. But, I wholeheartedly believe and will support a woman wherever she desires to birth and feels safest. My passion is helping women educate themselves, eradicate any fears of childbirth and reclaim their authority in birth to birth in their full power.

Care philosophy

My services include birth photography! I do free meet and greets so we can both decide if we will be a good match. I am on call from the moment of hire for any questions, concerns or just to talk. I do one prenatal visit, I will join you in labor once you want me there and stay until after your pain is managed and baby has latched and one postpartum visit during the first few weeks.

Working with Brittney has been amazing. I can’t recommend her enough! She is super kind, loving, and patient. Brittney went above and beyond as a part of our birth team, starting from the moment we hired her. As a first-time mom, I have had lots of questions and she was only a text away. She always got back to me quickly and always had great advice.
When I went into labor Brittney showed up and got right to helping my husband support me during contractions. She was great at making sure I was well-hydrated and eating all through my labor. Brittney was super encouraging as I was getting exhausted near the end. It was very helpful to hear her encouragement to keep going.
In the days following, Brittney would periodically check on us to make sure we were doing okay. All around I can’t say enough about how much we loved Brittney as a member of our birth team. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change our choice to have Brittney be our doula.

I have known Brittney since she actively making steps about becoming a doula. Since, she has been a trusted back-up, friend and fellow doula to bounce ideas, situations, clients and information off of. I feel like Brittney pours her heart out to her clients, honoring and respecting their birth wishes and empowering them with evidence based information to guide them along their journey. I was out of town for a few days this past summer and she attended a clients birth for me. I was so appreciative of her willingness to help me and ultimately them. Being thrown in blind is always hard but she supported our clients through a long birth with many hours of intensity. I appreciate her, her style, her heart and I am proud to call her a fellow doula in this birth community along side me.

Brittney was such a Godsend for my natural birth experience. She ensured that I received the exact experience that I dreamed of. I went through pregnancy and birth with no fears. She was always there to answer any questions I had and provide encouraging support. She provided several techniques during labor and birth to help with pain that truly did help. I can’t imagine any way that it could have went better . So thankful for her. Plus she took the most beautiful pictures !Absolutely wonderful experience.
