Practice overview
Aquay! My name is Amira Nation; I am a Birth and Labor Doula, by way of Traditional Doula and Midwifery Arts and nationally certified medical assistant. After a semester away from home showed me that college was not for me, I sought out on a journey of healing and self-love. through this journey, the Creator has guided me into Birth Work. After being by my mother’s side as she made her transition into the Spirit World and enduring my own struggles, I recognized the beauty of birth, the connection between birth and death, and the importance of the atmosphere in which new life is brought into. My goal as a Doula is to encourage other Indigenous women to reclaim their traditional ways and return to our roots of birthing. I plan on guiding ALL women through pregnancy and the birth process in a way that suits their needs and morals.

She was soft spoken, educational, patient, and really took the time to make our family feel comfortable. She took great care of us entire family, even postpartum! We’d choose her again if we had an opportunity ♥️
