Emily Rodriguez- Birth/Postpartum Doula, Sacred Birth Journey Instructor & Reiki Master/Instructor As a mother herself, Emily has a passion for babies and the path from maiden to motherhood. She values community, honoring the transitional experiences we encounter in life and finding optimal wellbeing through alternative techniques. She has found herself immersed in the work around birth, health and the divine feminine by supporting mothers as a doula, offering the peaceful energy healing of Reiki and hosting women's circles. She uses her tools of intuition, empathy and science to assist in your birthing process for a calm birth and new beginning with your little blessing. Emily's passion is sharing the gift of Reiki and empowering others to take on the traditional practices. She is experienced in the utilization of sacred sound for healing through Quartz crystal singing bowls and tibetan instruments. She guides full and new moon classes integrated with Reiki and sacred sound that encourage embracing the cycles within and honoring our connection to nature. ~ Certifications & Work Experience Emily attended her Birth and Postpartum Doula Training in February of 2018 through the Birth Trust Doula Certification program. She is a certified Sacred Birth Journey instructor teaching childbirth preparation to couples through the Sacred Living Movement. She has been a certified Reiki practitioner since 2013, becoming attuned when she was 5 months pregnant. Reiki assisted in her transition of becoming a mother by giving her practical relaxation techniques. She has been a Reiki instructor locally in Fort Collins, CO, Hotchkiss, CO, and Taos, NM since 2017. Emily has taught workshops and performed at Tribal Vision Festival in 2017 and 2018, Sonic Bloom Festival in 2019 and Arise Festival in 2019. She is currently on staff as a doula and Reiki instructor at Sacred Owl Wellness Health Spa in Fort Collins, CO.
