Birthing & Beyond is here to help individuals manifest new ways to process many of life transitions. Birthing is not a destination or an endpoint. It is a constant learning and unlearning through the many cycles of life. We spend many days, weeks and years seeking and looking for validation without realizing the growing, developing and the healing work that is happening within our lives.

The work that I do is different from other doula services because I am focused on the whole woman-birthing and beyond. This holistic approach acknowledges the many transitions that a woman will go through during her pregnancy and postpartum. I discovered dozens of non-profit organizations addressing different needs in communities of color but what I found lacking in these organizations was a holistic approach focused on the mind + body for women of color beyond giving birth. Taking a holistic approach is an important aspect of the work because I want women to have the tools that they need to learn, grow, and heal as they transition into motherhood. At Birthing & Beyond, it is my intention to create a space for women to find self-acceptance and peace to navigate the new realities of life.
